Market Square is a favorite for many in Knoxville and surrounding areas. There is always something going on in the way of entertainment and a fabulous Farmers Market on Saturday’s during season. There are many retail shops, restaurants and I am sure will delight you.
You will often hear local residents refer to “Gay Street”. This area was developed in the late 1700’s and is the city’s principal financial area. You will find the historic Tennessee Theater and The Bijou.
In 1982 the Worlds Fair was held at World’s Fair Park! The park was designed to support small events to large sporting events.
