Recently, Lenoir City was selected to participate in the Tennessee Downtowns revitalization program. 1 of 12 communities selected around the state, a volunteer committee will be involved in a 2 year program supported by the National Main Street Center. Upon completion of the training program, the communities also become eligible for $15,000 grants for downtown improvement projects.
